Amazon Food & Grocery Prep Service in Ohio — Expiry Date Tracking & Full Compliance
We prep food, grocery, cosmetics and supplement products for Amazon FBA with automatic FIFO picking, batch tracking and expiry date compliance — all managed through Ysell in real time.
Why Food Products Require Special Prep
Amazon has strict requirements for food, grocery and any product with an expiry date. Sending inventory without proper expiry date management can result in:

Failed inbound inspections at Amazon fulfillment centers
At 365PrepCenter we understand these requirements and apply them automatically to every food and grocery shipment — no extra instructions needed.

Food Prep Pricing
Food and grocery products are prepared at our standard FBA labeling rates. The only additional charge applies when expiry date labels need to be physically applied to each unit:
Standard FBA Prep (includes inspection, FNSKU labeling, packaging):
Expiry Date Label Application (additional):
*Expiry date labeling is only charged when a physical label needs to be applied to the product. Standard expiry date tracking and FIFO management via Ysell are included at no extra charge.
FIFO & Batch Tracking — How It Works
FIFO (First In, First Out) means we always pick and ship the oldest inventory first — ensuring your products with the earliest expiry dates leave the warehouse before newer stock. This is applied automatically to all food and grocery inventory without any additional setup required.
Batch Tracking means every inbound shipment is logged in Ysell with its own batch number, receiving date and expiry date. At any point you can log into Ysell and see:
📦 How many units of each batch are in stock
📅 Expiry date of each batch
📋 Which batch is currently being picked (always the oldest first)
🔄 Full inbound and outbound history by batch
This gives you complete traceability — important for Amazon compliance, supplier disputes and inventory planning.
Amazon Expiry Date Requirements — What You Need to Know
Have a clearly visible expiry date on the product or packaging
Have a minimum remaining shelf life at the time of receiving at Amazon FBA (usually 90+ days depending on category)
Are labeled with expiry date in MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY format

Amazon requires that all food, grocery and expiry-dated products:
What we do to keep you compliant:
Check expiry dates on every unit at receiving
Flag any units that are approaching Amazon's minimum shelf life requirement
Apply expiry date labels in the correct Amazon format when the original label is missing or unclear (+$0.10/unit)
Never ship units with insufficient shelf life to Amazon without notifying you first
How It Works — Step by Step
Ship your food or grocery products to our warehouse at 3515 Columbia Road, Unit 2105, Lebanon, OH 45036. Ship directly from your supplier or manufacturer.

Every unit is checked for expiry date on arrival. We log the batch, expiry date and quantity in Ysell. If any units have insufficient shelf life for Amazon, we notify you immediately before proceeding.
FNSKU labeling, polybagging where required, expiry date label application if needed. Every unit leaves our warehouse compliant with Amazon's current food prep requirements.
We create your FBA shipment and send your inventory to the assigned Amazon fulfillment center. FIFO is maintained throughout — oldest stock always ships first.

Frequently asked questions
Do you automatically check expiry dates on all food products?
Yes. Every food and grocery shipment is checked for expiry dates at receiving as a standard part of our process — no special request needed.
Do you photograph expiry dates?
We photograph expiry dates on request. This is useful for supplier disputes or Amazon compliance documentation. Photo service is available at $10/session.
What is FIFO and do I need to request it?
FIFO (First In, First Out) means we always pick and ship the oldest inventory first. It is applied automatically to all food and grocery inventory at 365PrepCenter — you never need to request it.
Do you store refrigerated or frozen food products?
No. We offer ambient (room temperature, climate-controlled) storage only. We do not have refrigerated or frozen storage capacity at this time.
What if some of my units have an expiry date that's too close for Amazon?
We check every unit against Amazon's minimum shelf life requirements. If we find units that don't qualify, we notify you immediately with a photo and quantity count so you can decide what to do before we ship anything to Amazon.
What food categories do you work with most?
Our most common food categories are snacks, grocery and pantry items, cosmetics with expiry dates and supplements. We work with all standard Amazon food categories that require ambient storage.
Do you apply expiry date labels?
Yes. If the original expiry date label is missing, unclear or not in Amazon's required format, we apply a new label at +$0.10/unit. Standard expiry date tracking is always included at no extra charge.
Is there a minimum volume for food prep?
No. We work with sellers of all sizes — from a few hundred units to regular large shipments. Every order receives the same level of care and compliance.
