A lot of sellers assume onboarding with a fulfillment center means a week of back-and-forth emails, a sales call you didn't ask for, and a contract that locks you in before you've even shipped a single box. That's not how we run things at 365PrepCenter. We built our intake process around one goal: get your inventory received, logged, and ready to ship as fast as physically possible, without you having to chase us for updates.
I've been an Amazon seller myself for about ten years before Oleg and I opened this warehouse in Lebanon, Ohio. I remember what it felt like waiting three weeks for a 3PL to "get back to me" with a quote. That delay costs you storage fees, stockouts, and sometimes a listing that goes dormant long enough to lose its Buy Box position. So when I say fast onboarding, I mean it in a very literal, operational sense — not a marketing line.
This article walks through what actually happens from the moment you sign up to the moment your first units hit our shelves, plus the specific things that trip sellers up during that window.
What "Fast" Actually Looks Like Here
There's no setup fee and no long-term contract to negotiate. That alone removes most of the friction other prep centers introduce upfront. You fill out our onboarding form, we confirm receipt, and you get access to Ysell — the warehouse management platform we run our operations on — with your own login and personal ID. That's your window into real-time inventory counts, cubic footage used, and cost tracking, available 24/7 from day one. If you want a walkthrough of what the dashboard actually shows, we've got a dedicated Ysell guide that covers it screen by screen.
Once your account is active, you send your shipment — whether that's a handful of boxes via UPS or a full pallet freight delivery. Pallets get received on our warehouse floor and checked in the same day they arrive in most cases. Boxes go through a standard intake: we open, count against your packing list or manifest, and flag any discrepancy before anything gets shelved. If something doesn't match — wrong unit count, damaged polybag, missing FNSKU label — we photograph it and reach out before we do anything with it. That's a step some centers skip, and it's the one that saves sellers the most headaches down the line.
New clients also get to pick a welcome promo: your first 10 FBM orders processed free, or your first 50 units of FBA prep free. Most people use this window to test turnaround speed before committing real volume, which I think is the right instinct.
Why the First Week Matters More Than People Think
The biggest mistake I see is sellers treating onboarding like paperwork instead of the first real test of the relationship. Turnaround on FBA prep runs 24-48 hours once units are received — that's FNSKU labeling, polybagging, whatever your workflow requires. If your first batch takes longer than that without explanation, that's a signal, not a coincidence. Same logic applies to FBM: our cutoff is 11:59am Monday through Friday for same-day shipping. If you place a test order in week one and it ships late without a heads-up, you've learned something important before you've committed serious inventory.
Storage is free for the first 30 days as a one-time new-client benefit, which gives you room to stagger shipments without worrying about per-cubic-foot charges eating into your margin while you're still figuring out reorder timing. After that it's straightforward — $1 per cubic foot per month, or $40 per pallet if you're storing palletized freight. No surprise line items buried in an invoice.
I'd also point out that fast onboarding doesn't mean we skip questions. If you're shipping products that need special handling — food items, cosmetics, supplements — we ask about that upfront because storage conditions and labeling requirements differ. We don't take lithium batteries, frozen or refrigerated goods, or large furniture, and it's better you know that in the first phone call than after a truck is already en route. Getting Your Ysell Access Set Up Correctly
Most onboarding delays I've seen trace back to one thing: the login email doesn't match the email someone actually checks. When you complete intake, we generate your Ysell.pro credentials and personal ID tied to the email you register with, typically within 24 hours. If that inbox is a shared team address nobody monitors, or a marketing filter catches it, you'll think you're waiting on us when the credentials have already been sent.
If you haven't received login access within 24-48 hours of finishing intake, don't sit on it — email or call us directly. Ninety percent of the time it's a delivery issue on the email side, and Oleg or Tatiana can resend it in a couple minutes once we confirm the right address.
FAQ
How long does onboarding actually take before I can ship my first units? Once you submit the onboarding form, you'll typically have Ysell login access within 24 hours. From there, you can ship inventory immediately — there's no waiting period or approval gate before your first shipment.
Do I need to sign a contract to get started? No. We don't require long-term contracts or setup fees. You can start with the welcome promo (10 free FBM orders or 50 free FBA prep units) and scale up or stop anytime based on how it performs for you.
What happens if my shipment doesn't match what I listed on the manifest? We check every box against your packing list or manifest during receiving. If there's a mismatch — unit count, damage, missing labels — we photograph it and contact you before processing continues, rather than guessing or shelving it as-is.
Can I track my inventory and costs myself, or do I have to email you for updates? You get full access to Ysell.pro with your own login and personal ID from day one. It shows real-time unit counts, cubic footage used, and cost breakdowns, so you're not waiting on us to answer basic status questions.
If you're ready to see how this works with your own inventory, head to our onboarding page and fill out the intake form — most sellers are shipping their first units within the same week. Questions first? The FAQ above covers most of them, or just contact us directly.
